Johnson Matthey sought to modernize its HR operations and unify disparate systems across multiple regions. The existing HR landscape relied on legacy tools and manual data handling, which led to inconsistencies, slow reporting, and compliance risks. The company required a global Workday implementation to streamline core HR functions, improve workforce visibility, and deliver a standardized employee experience across all subsidiaries.
Our team led the quality assurance and testing workstream for the Workday global rollout, ensuring a robust and stable platform from configuration to deployment. We developed an end-to-end testing framework that covered configuration validation, integration testing, and data migration assurance. Through automation, collaboration, and structured UAT coordination across 15+ countries, the project achieved a seamless global deployment with minimal disruption to business operations.
The engagement included automated regression testing across multiple modules, validation of payroll, time-tracking, and absence management integrations, and end-to-end data migration checks to ensure global compliance. We also coordinated user acceptance testing (UAT) and provided post-go-live hypercare support, ensuring system stability and user confidence during transition.
The Workday platform successfully unified HR processes across Johnson Matthey’s global operations, enabling greater efficiency and control over workforce data. The system enhanced visibility, reduced administrative workloads, and created a more connected and transparent HR ecosystem across regions. Employees benefited from improved self-service tools, streamlined approvals, and mobile access to essential HR functions.
The implementation delivered measurable outcomes, including a 40% improvement in HR transaction speed, a 35% increase in data accuracy, and enhanced analytics for strategic decision-making. With one integrated platform now connecting 10,000+ employees across 30+ regions, Johnson Matthey established a consistent HR governance structure that supports long-term scalability and digital transformation goals.
